 Tor Notes

An imposing Tor that sits high about Ditsworthy Warren. From a distance it appears to be made up from a mound of boulders and surrounded by scree. When you reach the top you find there is more like the traditional tor with granite slabs making up the summit.

   Difficulty: Moderate. You need to cross the Plym and navigate around a large bog and pick your way through an extensive clitter field. The Plym can be difficult depending on the height of the water. Be careful of footing around the tor.

You can park at the car park near the Scout Hut just along from Sheepstor Village (SX 57780 67330).
 Bogs

No bogs although the side of the hill to Hen Tor can become soft in wet weather.
