Tor Notes

Shell Top is a beautiful spot on a good day. It has views out over Plymouth Sound that are second to none. The Tor itself is a little stack of rocks, nothing out of the ordinary but a nice spot to spend some time.

Parking

Park your car just south (SX 60750 61240) of East Rook Gate. There isn't much room for cars but you can park it on the verge just before the track stars. Please be aware that there is a lot of farm machinery movement in the area so please don't block gates and tracks.

Bogs

No bogs immediately around Penn Beacon although the ground between Penn Beacon and Shell Top can become waterlogged in wet weather.
